I graduated from Lemmon High School in 1985. I then attended Northern State University and graduated with a Business Education Degree in 1990. Two days after graduation, my family moved back to Lemmon. In April 1991, I began working at the Lemmon School District as a secretary. I am still employed at the Lemmon School District, but my job has changed over the years. Some of the jobs I have held are secretary, Odyssey of the Mind Coordinator, Track Coach, Business and Computer Instructor, and Technology Coordinator/Integrationist. This coming year, I will be a 7/8 Technology Coordinator/Integrationist as well as teaching Computers to 5-7 grades. This will once again be something new and I feel that my MSET program has prepared me for this upcoming challenge.
MY FAMILY
My oldest daughter Kim is a Dickinson State University graduate and currently works at the DSU Strom Center.
My middle child, Jennifer, is attending college
at Glendive Community College. She is also a medic in the Army Reserves.
Her son, Jake, is 2 years old and a bundle of energy.
Christopher is my youngest. He graduated from
Lemmon High School in May 2008 and will graduate from Western Dakota Vo-Tech majoring in
Law Enforcement in May 2010. He will marry his fiance Jennifer in the summer of
2011.
I have a beautiful grandson, Little Jake, 2 1/2 years old. He is a joy to have around, but what a tiring experience trying to keep up with him.
My husband, Steve, and I were married in May 2008. He was a confirmed bachelor and has been wonderful with his "inherited" family. Him and little Jake are "joined at the hip" when the little guy visits. Here is "grandpa" putting the little guy to bed.
